Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of The Elusive Age is an RPG game developed by SquareEnix. It was released in July 2017 and it was a massive success in Japan. Its great game play and beautifully created fantasy world, has got the attention of gamers outside Japan. What stopping them was the language? Now, this video game is coming in English and other languages, along with extra features which was not included in previous release. The English version of game was released on July 29, 2017 in PC, PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

The mystical world of Lotozetasia, is in grave danger.It’s Ancient enemy, the Dark One is being resurrected. In a distant village,the young man born with a special birthmark is getting ready to go for the trials.Upon arriving God rock mountain. He realizes that he is the incarnation of once lived great hero.To know more about it, he travels to far away lands, along with companions he meet on the way,to find out the truth.
It’s Dragon Quest XI, So should I know the stories of previous games in the series to understand this game?
The answer is No. Every Dragon Quest games are made as stand alone, each with it’s own stories.So need to worry about that.
How the Dragon Quest Game works?
Dragon Quest XI uses strategic turn-based game play. So each player has to wait for it’s turn. The player can choose to defend, attack, use abilities or spells in his turn. Game also has number of interesting side quests. The game environment is very large compared to other dragon quest games.Lots of exploring to do.
There is an option called “Prep-Attack”, which makes the character along with his helper, to use a fantastic anime like finishing move on the monsters.

What about Dragon Quest XI Weapon Choice and Abilities?
Each character has it’s own unique weapons and abilities.
The main character weapon can be further enhanced to different levels.The Star system is used to show the level of the weapons. Unique Weapons can also be crafted by collecting parts.
The characters have abilities and spells which can cause huge damage along with some effects.
There is also an upgrade tree which gives special abilities to the character.
What are the new features in the Echoes Of The Elusive Age?
The main feature is of-course, the language.The game support text English, French, Italian, German.
The other feature is voice-acting. The japan version does not have any voice acting. The new release have voice acting with perfect lip-sync.
This version also have a faster sprint button and a movable camera option. There is first person mode is also allowed here.
The character menu now has images of the items he choose.
Plus, a new hard mode.
